Size: Approximately 3 servings.

These gorgeous pans are undoubtedly the highest-quality pans we carry. They are made of solid copper for superior heat conduction and then lined on the inside with a thin layer of tin to ensure the copper does not react with acidic foods. The sturdy handles are formed of solid brass and attached with heavy rivets.

These are our favorite pans because they are stunning to look at, either on the stove or as a kitchen accent. As an added bonus, they make the best paella ever! Copper is a superior conductor of heat, thus you get fast even cooking and the best mix of flavors from your paella.

These Iberian Copper Pans have a flat bottom, thus they work equally well on gas, electric, or induction cook tops.

To keep these pans looking good for years to come, we recommend hand washing. Harsh detergents and rough sponges may dull the gorgeous shiny finish.

Tips on selecting the right paella pan:

  • Paella pans are measured from the top edge of the pan, not counting the handles.
  • The serving size guidelines (listed in the item description) is an approximation based on about 1 1/2 cups of cooked rice per serving if you fill the pan up about 3/4 of the way. This would be an average serving, for an larger entree size portion, you'll want to estimate 1-2 servings per guest.
  • Paella pans are generally not flat, thus they don't work well on an electric or induction cook top. The domed bottom is to help the oil pool in the center of the pan, which helps the rice get crispy (Yum!)
  • For a heat source, we recommend one of our paella burners, a professional gas range, or cooking outside on the BBQ. You may also choose to pre-cook your ingredients in a standard frying pan, then transfer to a paella pan and finish cooking in the oven (but it won't be as good as cooking over an open flame!)
