Chorizo

Background: Rosco de Reyes

In Spain, Dia de Los Reyes (Day of the Kings) is a more popular holiday than Christmas. The day is celebrated with parades on the eve of Dia de Los Reyes and parties where Rosco de Reyes ( A sweet bread filled/covered with glace fruits and sugar) is served. Inside the Rosco de Reyes is hidden a small toy baby which will bring luck in the coming year to whoever finds it. Children write letters to the Reyes (Kings) asking for gifts which are left for them on January 6th.
